What is your Crypto Background?

I first discovered cryptocurrency in 2015, when Bitcoin started making waves in the financial world. I was immediately intrigued by the idea of a decentralized currency that any government or institution did not control. In 2016, I worked on my first client to help write a white paper for a crypto and blockchain project they were building, and started delving deeper into blockchain and distributed ledger technology. Soon I started getting more requests for white papers and other content from the crypto companies, and my work started getting featured in leading publications.

I find all aspects of the cryptocurrency industry exciting, but am particularly fond of gaming, gambling, and betting. Decentralization is another area that excites me, as it gives power back to the people.
I believe blockchain technology is a game-changer that can potentially transform a wide range of industries, including healthcare, supply chain, igaming, and more. The MarketsandMarkets report estimates a significant jump in the industry’s value from $7.4 billion in 2022, to $94.0 billion by 2027. The possibilities are endless, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this amazing technology.

How did you get started writing about Crypto, Blockchain and DLTs?

My interest in cryptocurrency, and blockchain technology started in 2015-16, when these concepts were still relatively new. My background in financial engineering, and experience working in the fintech industry, where I used to work within the marketing team and assisted in content marketing, gave me the necessary skills and knowledge to create content on cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

After completing my training in Bitcoin and blockchain in South Africa, I started working on white papers, which helped me better understand the underlying technology, and its potential real-world applications.
As I migrated back to India after five years of working for fintech-based companies in the US Boston, I began doing pro bono work as a mentor at Startupbootcamp – Mumbai. It allowed me to share my knowledge and experiences with young entrepreneurs, many of whom were looking to leverage blockchain and DLT in their solutions.

My mission as a content writer is to educate people about the benefits and potential of blockchain technology, and how it can be applied in different areas, especially in gambling and gaming.
